Setting is Forgotten Realms Level 15 Any 3.5 supplement is allowed If any more information is needed, i'll be happy to provide it. |

| Vestigial_Thumb03-31-06, 06:23 PM | bump Be sure you wait something like 48 hours before you repeat this. ;) Anyways, the Dragon Slayer from Draconomicon might be just what you're looking for. Are you thinking about focusing on spellcasting or fighting? |
| Priest_of_Shaundakul03-31-06, 07:28 PM | I know I could make a mean melee cleric, but wondered what spells or other feats would suit his theme just fine. Either a pure spellcasting build or tank type would be welcome. Oh, and this guy is a pure Clr 15 , he won't be taking any prestige classes. :embarrass |
| Krug_the_smasher03-31-06, 08:35 PM | First of all, what race are you? if you are a dragon slayer, maybe try to focus on something that has SR, and high dex. SR for the dragon's spell-like abilities, and dex for AC and reflex saves for the breath attack. Also, what kind of dragons are you fighting? Good dragons? I hope you at least have the draconomicon, and maybe races of dragon. Or, you could ask your DM what alignment you are fighting. |
| Priest_of_Shaundakul03-31-06, 09:18 PM | Well, I did mention it is a Blue Dragon. I was thinking Human, with Elf a strong possibility. |
| Krug_the_smasher04-01-06, 01:40 AM | Well, if i remeber correctly, Blue dragons are evil, so if you are a melee based charater, tanking it out with the fighter, take a weapon of Dragon Bane, and holy. it would increase to a +4 weapon, and do an extra 4d6 damage against that dragon. |
| allenchan04-01-06, 02:31 AM | You'll have better luck asking for advice on the character optimization forum, seeing as how you already know what class you'll be, this seems like the wrong place. |
| Gemcaster04-01-06, 02:38 AM | Be a cleric of bahamut and become a dragonborn they are immune to a dragons frightful presence and have benificial abilitys related to killing dragons. |
