Hinkel 08-02-06, 07:36 PM	I'm playing in a rather difficult campaign, and my seventh level knight needs to start changing classes to keep the enemy PC's guessing and bring something new to the table. He's a straight up melee fighter, as all knights should be. For feats, I have Shield Specialization, Improved Shield Bash, Agile Shield Fighter, Mounted Combat, Ride by attack and Leadership. I'm thinking of going cavalier, but if I'm restricted to a dungeon or cave, then those levels will be useless. Taking levels in Paladin would be particularly good, but I don't want to start a new class and be that weak. He'll bring more abilities and skills to the table, but it will take some time to progress. Please, tell me what you guys and gals think. I appreciate it. :D

WayneTheGame 08-02-06, 07:59 PM	Complete Divine has a PrC called Shining Blade of Heironeous, but it requires you to be LG, have Knowledge Religion 7 ranks and the ability to cast 1st level divine spells.. so not sure if that would fit (you would have to take at least a level or two of Cleric). Sorry I can't be of more help to you...
El_Machinae 08-02-06, 08:08 PM	I don't like Shining Blade ... Divine Crusader is not so bad, though. And I'm a big fan of Pious Templar - it goes with everything.
Seerow 08-02-06, 08:09 PM	3 levels of Cleric followed up by 10 levels of Shining Blade of Heroneious would net you casting as an 8th level Cleric (4th level spells means you get pretty much all of the common clerical buffs), and the ability to ignore pretty much any armor or natural armor thanks to Shining Blade. (Don't listen to the naysayers who think Shining Blade sucks, it's a good class. Really)
