A knight's ability [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-27-06, 08:14 AM on page 30 of the PHB2 there is the description of a 7th lvl knight in the encounter section (lady sorra)... it says that shehas the "wall of steel" ability which should be described in the knight's ability description- however it might be only me but i cant seem to find it...

any help would be appriciated

11-27-06, 09:18 AM its probably just a different name for either shield block or Bulwark's defense. Wall of steel is kind of a cheesy name anyway.

11-27-06, 10:21 AM Don't ever give a second look to featured characters.
WotC's game designers don't know their own rules, most of those characters are flawed.
And since proofreading simply does not happen there either (there has to be a reason they sell them so utterly underpriced, cough, cough..) - just ignore them.

11-27-06, 10:57 AM Although I probably wouldn't go so far as VonRichthofen has, the example characters are frequently badly wrong - don't worry about it, and just use the class as it appears in the book.
