A Large-Sized Druid [Archive] - Wizards Community

Well, I think I recall somewhere that a Large or small sized Druid recieves an animal companion based on his size. Did I just dream this up or is there something out there about this?

02-05-05, 01:27 AM In Tome and Blood, there were alternate familiars for tiny or smaller characters and for huge or larger characters. I'm guessing that's what you're thinking of.

02-05-05, 03:02 AM DMG page 203 they talk about different Familiars for larger or smaller arcanists.

I seem to dimly recall there being something in the Quintessential Druid I and II, from Mongoose, about alternate Animal Companions. You may want to look there, if your DM allows third party stuff.
