As noted above, I am but a newbie, and, thus, have only one question - is it sensible to multiclass from a rogue to a scout early on? My reasoning for the idea was the high amount of skill points gained per level, plus each class' damage bonuses - skirmish and sneak attack. Also the scout's hit die would make up slightly for the rogue's. Any comments?

If this is posted in the wrong place I have no clue where it should go.

Its not a bad idea, but it really depends on the kind of character you want to play and campaign setting. Enen though they arent extremely different i would go with rougue till you get 3D6 for sneak attack then switch. That's what i think you should do,but this may not be the best way cause i play alot of in your face fighters. Played a rougue once and sneakattack is everything,so wait for 3D6 sneak so you have a base for fighting.

Good luck from your friendly nieghborhood giant, God!

I suggest going Shadowdancer/Assassin. Some of the ninja classes are also good, but imo if you want to play the "perfect" rogue, being a shadowdancer is ideal
