I have always wanted to make a character who loved exclusively used fire but the xph's pyrokineticist is, for one thing, connected to psionics and secondly alittle too abusable for power in certain areas while also too weak in others. Therefore I wanted to make a more well rounded pyromaniac that any fire loving melee type could go into. I need people's input though on how balanced certain parts of this prc are.

Pyromaniac:

Prerequisites-
speak language Ignan
feats: pyro
special: exclusive use of fire. Fire is the solution to every situation. Something along these lines.

d10 HD
Bab 3/4
good reflex save
skill points 4 + int
class skills: bluff, intimidate, knowledge(planes), jump, climb, and a few more.

special class abilities:
1st lvl: Hands of fire- Pyromaniacs no longer need tools to start fires. At will, they can ignite their hands on fire. They cannot be damaged by their own fire though. They can use their hands to light unattended objects on fire and people they strike with their fists must make a reflex save or catch on fire. People they grapple automatically catch on fire.
True fire- Enemies hit by a pyromaniac's fire( any source of fire he uses) take fire damage as if they had 5 fewer points of fire resistence. For enemies immune to fire, treat them as if they had fire resistence of 30 before applying the effects of true fire. True fire's effect increases by 5 every other lvl( i.e. 1,3,5,7,9).
2nd lvl: Improved pyro- The reflex save dc to avoid catching on fire is now 7 points higher instead of 5(dc 22). This improves to 9 at 5th lvl and 12 at 9th lvl.
One with fire- A Pyromaniac gains fire resistence 5. This improves to 10 at 6th lvl and 15 at 10th lvl.
3rd lvl: True fire 10
Flaming weapon- All weapons wielded by the pyromaniac deal d6 fire damage as long as they are in his hands. Enemies struck by a flaming weapon must succeed on a reflex save or catch on fire.
4th lvl: Empty currently
5th lvl: True fire 15
Wet fire- fires created by the pyromaniac are very smoky and produce effects similiar to fog cloud in a 20' radius around the square the fire is in. The pyromaniac can see through the smoke.
Improved pyro 9
6th lvl: One with fire 10
7th lvl: True fire 20
8th lvl:Unnatural heat- all fire damage caused by the pyromaniac is increased to 2d6(fire from flaming weapon and from people who catch on fire from his attacks).
9th lvl: True fire 25
Improved pyro 12
10th lvl: One with fire 15

Special event: Spontaneous combustion- Pyromaniacs gain all of their special abilities because of their link to the elemental plane of fire. This link is so strong that at some point in their lives, the plane will erupt out of their bodies and onto the material plane dealing (10+pyromaniac lvls)d10 fire damage in a 50' radius around the pyromaniac. The reflex save for half is dc 27. The pyromaniac cannot make this save as he is the source of the explosion. Pyromaniac is not immune to this fire damage and he does not apply his fire resistence. If the pyromaniac survives, he gains the type elemental(fire) although there are no specific changes to his appearance. If he dies, fire elementals from the plane of fire come to take him back. This event occurs 5d4 -pyromaniac lvls years after he takes his first lvl of pyromaniac. This time factor can be shortened or lengthened depending on how fast lvling occurs in different campaigns.

Dealing with fire elementals:
A pyromaniac gains no initial benefits when dealing with fire elementals. They treat you as they normally would depending on the encounter. If a pyromaniac manages to deal fire damage to a fire elemental though, the elemental instantly treats him as friendly as they respect your power and connection to fire.

Ok I would throw in more flavor but right now I am mostly worried about the mechanics of the class. I am pretty sure that the class is balanced. I mean from 10 lvls of a class one gets some fire resistence, fog cloud, 2d6(+2 pyro) fire damage, the ability to pierce fire resistence, and you blow up possibly dying. Although gaining elemental type may be overpowering but none of the rest should be. I have been trying to compare the PrC's power to that of a core classes and find that while he doesn't gain as much damage dealing ability as a rogue or a power attacking fighter, he has a consistent 2d6 damage. Anyway please show me where the flaws are. Thanks
