| Alon D'ar05-24-07, 01:03 AM | I have a quick question concerning a paladin's mount. I'm going to be joining a high level game and I'm a 15th level paladin. My DM said I can have an elephant for a mount so what I want to know is does the HD increase from my paladin levels increase the size of my mount as if I were using the monster advancment rules? |

A mount has growth granted by you being stronger and infusing it with more energy (or however you want to rationalize it). Same with Druid companions, they won't grow. You are free to put some magic items on your mount though... Make some item with permanent enlarge, some permanent enchantments on its natural weapons... it'll probably make that DM regret allowing elephants that's for sure. |
