A question about the Truespeaker. [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-20-06, 02:01 AM To say an utterance against a creature, one must make a Truespeak check equal to 15+(2x the creatures CR). I cant seem to find the DC for the utterances of the crafted tool for objects or the perfected map for places (they dont have a CR so whats the DC?). If someone could tell me what the DCs would be I would be most grateful. Thank you.

05-20-06, 02:06 AM The DC for a mundane Item is 25

The DC for a Magical item is 15 + (2 x caster level of item)

The DC for the landscape is 25 + (5 x Utterance level)

For the landscape, my friend showed me an FaQ he printed out, don't know where he got it, sorry

its in the official errata. And the object DCs can be found on page 195 of the ToM on the right hand column near the middle of the page for future reference.
