DrMorganes 01-19-06, 03:10 AM	No. The number of spells cast per day is a hard limit. A wizard cannot "save up" a spell slot and carry it over from day to day. Actually, no caster of any sort - bard, wizard, cleric, sorcerer, et. al. - can "save up" spells per day and carry them over into a new day to cast a greater number of spells on the next day. He can, however, choose NOT to fill the slot when he prepares spells for the day. He may then take a few moments (15 minutes if memory serves) to fill that reserved spell slot with a spell to fit the moment. For prepared casters, spells prepared remain prepared until cast. Perhaps this is what you meant? Ferinstance: William the Wizard (5) has an INT of 19. He may prepare 5/4/3/2 spells per day of spell levels 0/1/2/3. As he prepares his spells on Day 1, he opts not to fill a spell slot for spell levels 1, 2, and 3, reserving their use for unforeseen applications later. At any time later in Day 1 William may take a few moments and prepare spells for some or all of his reserved spell slots. He must re-reserve these slots when he prepares spells on Day 2. Over the course of Day 1, William casts all of his prepared spells of levels 1, 2, and 3. He casts no 0-level spells at all. When he prepares his spells on Day 2, he may choose to maintain all of the 0-level spells he prepared on Day 1. He may still cast a maximum of 5 0-level spells on Day 2. Even though he "saved" those spells from Day 1, he does NOT get to cast 10 0-level spells on Day 2.
