| Benime01-29-05, 11:08 AM | Try to think of it this way: if you're running a fighter who gets infected with lycanthropy by a were-wolf, every time you turn into a were-wolf you become vicious and homicidal. Is that how you normally are? No, and you'd better bet your butt that you're going to try and find some way to get cured. Exalted characters are the epitome of goodness, not just a different shade or meaning. They try to exemplify good thoughts and deeds and being neutral half the time means that you're acting neutral then and not EXALTED good. It's the difference between letting a brawl that you know about go on half-way across town because you'd rather not get involved and getting up to do something about it. Exalted characters do that kind of thing. Neutrals don't. When I think of were-cats (tigers, jaguars, cheetahs, etc), I think of someone closely tied with nature, feeling an uncommon urge to run out in the woods, catch something with your teeth and chew on it for a while, ignoring the plights of those who cannot defend themselves. |

So you mean that i canīt, but is there any way to change it? |

| Hochi-min trail01-29-05, 02:11 PM | What about if he's a natural were-creature? I usually alow these creatures to be good. Though none of my players ever asked to be one, since they consider them all evil, i wouldn't mind that. |

As long as the person can follow the rules for exalted characters, then they can have and use exalted feats. If they can't, then they lose access to them. If one is cursed to act evil at certain times against one's will, then I don't think this breaches exalted behavior inherently. However, I believe you'd have to find a way to make sure you harmed no one in these states, even if that meant suicide. -Drachasor |
