| cambric03-27-04, 09:20 PM | Try the SRD? |
| Castlmike03-27-04, 09:24 PM | Just choose them. Normally get two without cost as a part of leveling up right? |
| Luminous Crayon03-27-04, 10:41 PM | First, find a written copy of the spell. This can be in a scroll, or in another wizard's spellbook. Next, decipher the spell. This requires you to either succeed at a spellcraft check against DC 20 + spell level, or read the spell while under the effects of a read magic spell. Nice and simple. Next, you must study and understand the spell. This requires a full day of studying. At the end of the day, make a spellcraft check against DC 15 + spell level. If you succeed, you're golden. If not, you can't learn the spell until you gain at least one more rank in spellcraft. Once you have successfully understood a spell, you can copy it to your spellbook. This takes a full day of copying, takes up one blank spellbook page per level of the spell, and costs 100 gp per level of the spell. |
