| DeadEye1910-03-04, 07:17 AM | I wanted to ask you, does smite evil in its current format good enough? I mean, for a main feature of the class, one attack per day? The problam I have is that at 16th level,with four smites,the paladin deals up to 64 additional damage with attack that may not,though probably will,hit. I tought it is a good Idea to let the Paladin smite at all attacks on a full attack with a feat,maybe. I alwayes tought a paladin doesnt deal that much damage,so smiting with fool attack,with the required feat,isnt so unbalnced. |
| Rauol_Duke10-03-04, 10:15 AM | There was a feat called Full Smite that allowed just that, all of the Paladin's attacks for the round were treated as a single smite attempt, IIRC. I believe it was printed in a Dragon magazine, although I cannot remember which issue. It was an Epic Feat, though. I personally don't think that Paladin's should get more smites. I currently DM a player who has a 15th level Paladin of St. Cuthbert who has taken the Extra Smiting feat twice, and he does plenty of damage... |
