I am sure most of you are aware of the method shown in Unearthed Arcana of paying for one's LA. Would this method in your opion be able to be adapted to the Animal compaion. FOr example treating the higher lvl companions as if they had a LA one lvl lower than the lvl at which they vbecome available. For example, treat a tiger as if it had LA 6 and pay XP at 18th lvl to reduce it to LA5? What do you think?
