Hey all i have been playing a warlock for thirteen lvls now and im good with it but i would like some variety such as thru multiclassing but i dont know what would mesh with the warlock in terms of flavor and mechanics.
the options i have been meshing in my head are things like binder, shadow caster, or even a sorcerer but im leaning more towards the shadow caster just for flavor reasons i dont know *shrugs*
anyways input would be nice ((ive only played this lock for a year and im still learning)) and constructed criticism is always welcome

What about just Prestige Classing? Check out Complete Mage.
There is a Multiclass Divine/Warlock, a multiclass Arcane/Warlock and a class which makes a Warlock into more of a "good guy" and allows him to draw power from celestial sources rather than... where he normally gets them. (IIRC)

In general though, the Warlock should be something you can take to 20.

There's also the Hellfire Warlock (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20061207a&page=3) in the Fiendish Codex II

Which, as many on the boards will tell you, works very well with just one level of Binder.

I created this Warlock/Binder prestige class called the Oath Breaker (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=934182). It's for characters who want the power a vestige can grant but don't want to be beholden to anyone but themselves.

Mechanically, it's like a Warlock who gets vestige granted abilities instead of invocations. It advances eldritch blast and the level of vestiges you can bind (but not how many you can bind). Instead of being able to bind more vestige at once, or getting more invocations, it lets you steal granted abilities so that you can use them at will even when not bound to a vestige. At 10th level, you can also turn your invocations into supernatural abilities.

Although 13 levels into Warlock is perhaps a little late I really like the Eldritch Disciple which combines the Warlock with a Cleric. The most desirable entry for the class is Warlock 1/Cleric4 which would have left you with Invocation/EB as a Warlock11 and spellcasting as a Cleric 13 at 15th level. The "broken build" for the ED uses Ur-Priest instead of Cleric for the divine spells and enables a 20 level build that only costs the Warlock two effective levels.

Don't forget that if you can get into a class that advances spellcasting that will improve your invocations as well. They may not fit your character but I think the Mindbender may be the best for a Warlock although there are others.

A bit weaker, perhaps, but something like cleric/monk/warlock/Eldritch Disciple would fit the bill as a goody goody.

(1 level of monk is for Wis to armor, dump if dipping into classes is not acceptable)

Why? As a part of Eldritch Disciple, you get a blast that makes your Eldritch Blast into positive energy. Which heals and damages undead. It can only be granted if you pick up an non-evil god, going even more with the whole "I'm goooooood! Really!" business. There are probably better ways of doing that build, and it may not be as good as pure warlock, unless done right, however.

PHB has retraining, so talk to your DM about that, after some RP of finding God(s).

Also, consider asking for that one ability to be a feat or an invocation. Is it really that powerful or something? Sorta irks me that I can't grab it without that prestige class.

Monk, Warlock, Eldritch Disciple and Good do not go together very well. The big problem Monk = LAWFUL, Warlock = Evil or Chaotic means overlap at LE which is the opposite of the CG you'd need to be for a good Eldritch Disciple.

Forgot about that, oh dear. Well, that's why there is the Complete Adventurer Ninja.

Er, you won't need ANY help hitting your targets, for the most part. Touch AC, remember?

Well, Rogue synergizes well with Warlock in some ways. You can make Sneak Attacks with your Eldritch blast. Rogue skill points can help shore-up any area you may be lacking in cuz Warlock skillpoints blow.

However, if you don't wanna do the Hellfire Warlock or the one that makes you sort of a Celstial Warlock (forget the name), there are not a lot of options this late in the game (13th level) I could think of that would work all that well for you. You may be best off just going for more Warlock levels.

if Psionics are awakened in your world, did you ever think of the War Mind class? It would give you access to a choice selection of powers, temp. boosts to STR or CON, AC, extra damage reduction, the ability to hit 2 sqares in front of you, and a massive damage melee attack. You do have to be nonchaotic, though you could talk to your DM about it.

Have you ever played with incarnum? They specialize in magical and semi-magical abilities that can be used at will, much like your eldritch blast, and they're designed with non-meldshaping classes in mind, as well. A couple of levels in incarnate or totemist can give you some options you might have never thought of before.
