i checked with my dm and he loves this...
im playing a centaur ftr4/cavalier10 and my favored weapon is a +5 keen maiming lg. lance :) w/ a str 30
my lance is a 2-handed weapon, but when mounted (like i always am) it can be weilded in 1 hand, but still keeps its 2-handed status so base damage is 2d6+20...
i have the power attack and leap attack feats, when i shift 5 points from my BAB and threaten a foe after jumping at least 10 ft., those 5 points become 30 points (2-handed weapon) so damage is now at 2d6+50...
now, with the Unstoppable Charge feature of the cavalier at lvl 10 lets me declare 5x damage, 5/day. so damage is now at 10d6+250....
normally a lance has a crit of 20/x3, but the keen feature changes that to 19-20/x3, but the maiming feature lets me roll a d6 to determine a crit modifier on a sucessful hit.
so, if i declare an Unstoppable Charge, and in my move action threaten a foe from where i land after a jump of at least 10ft., if i roll a crit and hit with it, then roll a six for my modifier, im looking at damge in the range of 60d6+1500(assuming av. rolls, 1680 points of damage)
(the tarrasque in the MM only has 858hp) :)
tell me how full of ******** i am, plz....

...if you crit and roll a 6 on a d6.

2d6+20 so far.
PA grants 5x6=30 damage per BAB. Assuming you treat the lance as a two-handed weapon while mounted. Dunno where that's from.
So you're at 10d6+100+30dmg per BAB
On average that's 135+30 per BAB
dmg=135+30PA
hit%=(AB + 21 - AC - PA) / 20

A quick table revealed that your max damage per round comes if:

PA = (AB + 17 - AC) / 2

AB is your AB, AC is your target's AC. But once your damage exceeds your target's HP, there's no point in increasing PA any further. Assuming your AB is 30 and your target's AC is 35, the best PA is +6, giving you 315 average damage per hit, and a 50:50 chance of actually hitting. If your target's AC is 40, the best PA becomes +3, giving you 225 average damage per hit, and a 40% chance of hitting.

If you are using shock trooper to funnel the power attack penalty from to-hit to AC(which you should), it gives you every incentive to go all-out power attack, since a crap AC the next round matters less if you can kill your opponent in the 1st round.

Also, your damage seems a little low. Are you aware that centaurs can qualify for spirited charge without meeting the requirements?(as of races of faerun).

So with leap attack and power attack, you would be getting triple your power attack ratio. You have a bab of +18, so that is an extra 54 damage.

With a +5 lance, you deal 2d6+59 on a typical hit. Remember to triple that since you are charging mounted on a lance(since a centaur is effectively its own mount). So that is 6d6+177 damage, for a minimum of around 200 damage on a successful charge.

I am not familiar with the cavalier prc, so I am not aware of what other bonuses it provides. :(
But I believe you can carry on with the math from there...;)

In theory, you could 1-shot a tarrasque. Though in practice, it would not be so easy since it has 6 toughness feats which are just begging to be swapped out, and the 1st feat I am definitely going to give it will be the "stand still" feat, which lets it burn an AoO to force someone to stay in a threatened square.

So what happens is that when your centaur tries to leave a square it threatens(and it will have to), it provokes an AoO, which the tarrasque uses to stop your centaur firmly in place. Next round, full attack...:D

Other replacement feats likely include multiattack, improved crit, improved toughness and ... I haven't decided on the last 2 feats yet.
