aasimar fighter [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-16-05, 01:21 PM I'm wanting to create a hero who has the parentage of a god. Here is my idea so far

Aasimar male
8th level fighter.
I'm stumped on the feats to give him.

12-16-05, 01:23 PM Well... Umm.. Kind of need more information than that. What kind of weapon do you want to use? What kind of combat style do you prefer? Do you want to see big numbers for your damage, or do you want to be able to keep the enemy at bay with a high armor class?

12-16-05, 02:12 PM well I'm going by Races of destiny def of an aasimar.Since gods are outsiders, I pick aasimar.
I pick fighter because it seems that most hero demigods were either barbarians (like Hercules) or Fighters.
As for feats, I pick Jack of all Trades to reflect his blood.
As for other feats, I'm not certian. I want him to be "blessed by the gods" but also to be a good fighter to show his inner strength in times of need.

12-16-05, 03:02 PM Have you looked at the Exalted Feats? Sanctify Martial Strike and Quell the Profane are great exalted fighter feats. Plus, nothing says "godling" quite as well as Nimbus of Light (it would also compliment your 1/day light spell for being an aasimar). And then there's my personal favorite exalted feat: Touch of Golden Ice.
