01-30-07, 01:11 AM If you had an Abjurant Champ using the martial arcanist ability to use his Bab as his caster level would the practiced spellcaster feat add 4 to that total assuming it didnt go beyond the chars HD or would it apply to the actual caster level?

I.E. an Abj Champ with a bab of 12 and the practiced spellcaster feat having a caster level of 16 even though his actual caster level might be say 5.

*Caster level: You think of a caster's spell progression here, right?

Apart from that, as far as I read the feat, you'd get a CL of up to your current HD.

A fighter 8/wizard 7/AC 5 with Practiced Spellcaster would have a CL of 20, just to make an example.

Your caster level becomes equal to your BAB, by RAW.
Nowhere does it say you can't boost this CL with Practiced Spellcaster to equal your HD.
