Is there an errata for AC?
Does anyone find it a bit unbalanced?

No errata for the AC thing. You do not gain your bonus when using mage armor.

It's a good gish-type class.

I agree that it is unbalanced, it's just too easy to make a gish character now with it.

I'd give it 4/5 spellcasting, losing a caster level at level 1, and drop it down to a d8 hit dice.

Under AC I meant Abjurant Champion, not Armor Class.

True. Also, it has a d10, while other simmilar classes like Eldrich Knight has d6. Even Spellsword who gets 1/2 to a spellcasting class has d8.

Like Mystic Theurge, it balances out when combined with the core classes. Multi-class warrior-mages are behind their EL in both close-combat and spellcasting, and D&D 'expects' a party including both focused warriors and spellcasters, so the 'gish' foundation is pretty weak. Abjurant Champion merely bridges the existing gap and makes the character competitive.

Why I like Abjurant Champion is because it encourages more defensive and strategic combat. Notice that the class focuses heavily on protective spells, providing a front-line combatant with significant defence. Glass cannons get boring very quickly, even to watch.

It also provides a nice alternative to the extremes of 'unable to deal with magical problems' (non-caster combat class) and 'fights by heaping killing spells' (caster). In effect, you can be a warrior who is not stumped when confronted with magic.

As for overpowered, that is probably why the class is only 5 levels. Those 5 levels make up for the 'weaknesses' of gish.

Also, to my knowledge, most gish builds have an aggressive focus which prioritises higher attack and higher level spells (MORE KEWL POWERZ!!!) over survivability or durability.
