What is the most effective way to make a Paladin/Sorcerer build, including the Abjuration Champion build?

For example:
Paladin (+2 levels)
Sorcerer(+? levels)
Abjuration Champion (+5 levels)
???

What other build options do I have to be a 2H wielding Paladin/Sorcerer?

Paladin 2/ Battle Sorcerer 4/ Abjurant Champion 5/ Spellsword 1/ Eldritch Knight 8. +19 BAB, 17th level casting with CL of 19th, and a good set of abilities to work with. Most people use a Focused Specialist instead of Battle Sorcerer for 9th level spells, but it isn't required of you.

Instead of battle sorc just do regular sorc. It's not worth losing a spell known at each spell level for a measly +1 BAB and a couple HP.

Battledancer is also a great dip for full BAB, Improved Unarmed Strike, and Cha to AC. The only thing is you have to be chaotic, but that's why they invented Paladins of Freedom, eh? ;)

UA. Or the SRD. Try searching before asking.

I think the "standard" is Paladin2/Sorcerer4/Spellsword1/AbC5/Sacred Exorcist8. That has a BAB +16 but a casting level of 18 which gets you that 9th level spell.

For a 2HW using Paladin/Sorcerer/Abjurant Champ is great because of how much use you get from the simple Shield spell.

I have been considering making a homebrew PrC with a target entry of Pal1/Sor4 that lasts five levels. My idea is 3/4 BAB, full casting, and advancing the Paladin type abilities as an Arcane Champion.
