Abjuration class [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-05-06, 09:21 PM As of late Wizards has been relaesing new base classes based around specific schools of magic. I greatly anticipate a an abjurer class, im confused on how to make it unique and worthwhile. Hopefully it will be released in Complete Mage. Do you guys have any suggestions on ideas and such?

Look in my sig. Click on the link for the Oracle. He's a abjurer and diviner cousin to the warmage, dread necromancer, and beguiler. (The best summoner I've seen is in K's Dungeonomicon.) That leaves only transmutation.

09-06-06, 01:31 AM I would imagine that it would revolve around counterspelling/debuffing, and banishment of outsiders, sorta like how the 2ed incantatrix specialisation class was supposed to work.:P
