About Druid/Shapeshifters and Undead Shape [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-25-05, 02:31 PM There´s been a question bugging me for a time... Can a druid/shapeshifter use the undead shape without been a violation of its druidic oaths?

but becoming the form of an undead or aberration, as they are both abominations against natural order- it could be a violation...but, nothing in the rules against it

07-25-05, 03:00 PM The Master of many Forms (CV) has aberations as one of the creature types it can turn into. By having wildshape as a pre req, it suggests that druids would be taking it. The RAW don't state that you can't become these creatures (if you have a way to do so- wildshape won't do it) though a druid might roleplay such limitations.

07-25-05, 03:50 PM One of my problems with the original shifter class was that it allowed undead, abberrations, and constructs. (I believe) All of these I would consider, as a druid, abominations against nature and worthy only of destruction. Taking their form would be a violation of my druidic principles and there would have to be a damn good reason for it. Does it violate RAW? No. Is it against the entire concept of the druid class? Yes.
