Here's a Prestiege I made and showed to the DM. It's what I'm aiming for with my Half-Ogre. I've already got levels of Fighter and Barbarian. But, I think Barbarian somewhat fits well. The prestiege is meant to be a leader of demons and kind of the big beastly leader of the horde. I'm hoping to take demons as my followers and keep them lurking about the dungeons of our castle. -giddy laughter- Here we go.

Requirements
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Base Attack Bonus: +6
Diety: Any associated with Death/Killing
Race: Any non-Outsider
Skills: Knowledge:Planes 3 ranks
Knowledge:Religion 2 ranks
Knowledge:Arcana 2 ranks
Feats:Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave, Weapon Focus (Any), Leadership, Disciple of Darkness
Language:Abyssal
Special:The character must slay a demon with the aid of no one, the same applying to the opposing demon. The combat must be performed in a specially designed temple dedicated to the character's diety. This combat must be done in the audience of atleast 10 lesser demons.
Note:Once taken, the Abyssal Warlord prestiege class must be taken until the character has achieved "Demonic Stature". Thus, a character may not take so many levels of Abyssal Warlord and take another class. It's all or nothing. Upon reaching Demonic Stature, a creature may freely take other classes upon levelling up.

Level | BaseAttackBonus | Fort | Ref | Will | Special
1 +1 +2 0 +2 Claws and Bite
2 +2 +3 0 +3 Demonic Visage
3 +3 +3 +1 +3 Diehard
4 +4 +4 +1 +4 Unholy Power
5 +5 +4 +1 +4 Fiendish Endurance
6 +6 +5 +2 +5 Godly Health
7 +7 +5 +2 +5 Scaly Flesh
8 +8 +6 +2 +6 Unholy Power
9 +9 +6 +3 +6 Scaly Flesh
10 +10 +7 +3 +7 Demonic Stature

Bite:May be used in a Full Attack Action at -5 penalty. Must be adjacent to foe. 1d6+1/2 Str bonus.
Claw: Natural Attack. 1d8+Str bonus.
Demonic Visage: +4 on Intimidate checks. Suffers a -4 on all Charisma based skill checks.
Diehard: The Warlord gains the "Diehard" feat regardless of whether or not she meets the prerequisits.
Unholy Power: Gains an inherent +2 bonus to Strength.
Fiendish Endurance: The character gains Damage Reduction 5/-.
Godly Health: The Warlord gains an inherent +2 bonus to Constitution.
Scaly Flesh: The Warlord recieves +2 natural armor.
Demonic Stature: The Abyssal Warlord has become great in her power, and is now a minor Demon. The following effects are followed through upon the Abyssal Warlord. The Warlord's size increases by one size category. Her flesh turns a blood-like red or a pitch black color. Bat-like wings sprout from her back. The Warlord's Damage Reduction increases to 10/- and she gains Spell Resistance 20.The character's type changes to "Outsider".

Kind of went off of some things I gathered through the Book of Vile Darkness. I thought it was good. My brother wants to lower the SR and increase some Requirements. Which makes me mad. I find this all kind of funny. We've got a hardcore paladin in our group and an Aasimar who worships a god who's very much against undead. And, as I understand, Orcus is all about the Undead and is ruler of the Abyss. But, I suppose we'll see how this all works out. We do have a very evil and mischevious Tiefling in our group anyway. Paladin's been slacking lately. Maybe he'll go BlackGuard so I won't have to kill him. :smirk: But, back to the point, is my prestiege fair and is it all logical?

Also, I'm unsure if my terminology is correct. I couldn't think of any other types of ability increases besides enhancement and inherent. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

well, i see no reason not to take this class. thats a bad thing.

Claws and Bite: make the damage based on his size, see the table in the back of MM.

Demonic Visage: fine

Diehard: as above.

Unholy Power: +2 is too much. maybe spread it out, +1 at some level, and additional +1 few levels later.

Fiendish Endurance: too much. that would be a good cap ability. spread it out over few levels.

Godly Health: see unholy power.

Scaly Flesh: you have it listed twice, i assume this adds up to +4 natural armor.

Demonic Stature: you give him too much here:
1. size increase: that alone could be a great cap ability, as you gain number of bonuses when your size increases.
2. wings: what kind of flight does he get? again wouldnt be too bad, but combined with #1 its a lot.
3. DR increase: thats awsome. get rid of it, especially combined with Fiendish Endurance. no PrC should have DR x/- greater than 6/-.
4. SR 20: not a big deal since it doesnt scale up. its good when you first get it, but it will become obsolete if the game keeps going.
5. Outsider: not a big deal by itself, just combined with other things is too much. i would drop size increase and cap DR at 5/-.

also keep in mind that they are getting good BAB and 2 good saves. all those things together make the prereqs seem like nothing.

and what are their class skills, skill points, and HD?

I forgot natural attacks go off of size. I'll adjust that.

I think I'll drop the size increase for Demonic Stature. Doesn't seem worth it.

Maneuverability Poor.

Doesn't the barbarian get a 10/- DR by 16th level or some such thing? Maybe it was only 6/-.

I think I'll all out drop Spell Resistance. Hopefully my group'll be able to back me up when it comes to spellcasters.

Outsider. The only problem with this is that it makes it so I can't be resurrected. Now, I read something somewhere. I thought it was about Demons. But, does having my type change to Outsider do anything else beside stop me from being resurrected?

For ability score increases and natural armor, isn't that all pretty much a toned down Dragon Disciple?

Skill points are probably 2+intellegent per level.

D12

Meh. So discouraged. Maybe I'll just go back to Soul Eater. Easier than designing stuff. -_- Thanks though.

barbarian has DR 5/- by level 19.

outsider makes you immune to *whatever* person spells. thay have to use *whatever* monster spells instead.

also good BAB, 2 good saves, and d12 HD is a lot.

try this:
d10
good BAB
good Fort save.

1. claws and bite (based on your size)
2. Demonic Visage, DR 1/-
3. diehard
4. Unholy Power (+1 unnamed bonus to Str), DR 2/-
5. scaly flesh (+1 natural AC)
6. Godly Health (+1 unnamed bonus to Con), DR 3/-
7. Unholy Power (+1 unnamed bonus to Str), scaly flesh (+2 natural AC)
8. DR 4/-, claw and bite damage increased as if one size larger.
9. Godly Health (+1 unnamed bonus to Con), scaly flesh (+3 natural AC)
10. Demonic Stature: wings (fly as Dragon Desciple), outsider, +2 unnamed bonus to Str, DR 6/-.

Demonic Visage contradicts its self due to the fact that intimidate is a charisma-based skill.

Becoming an outsider means that you don't have to eat or breath, makes you immune to what Lady Ishtar said, and I thinl also ageing spells and effects and poison.

(Note: My spelling sucks today.)

The DM lets me use Strength for Intimidate. The things I do to intimidate are smash my greataxe into the ground, warcries, flexing doing freakish things I suppose.

Meh. Ed wouldn't go for that. I thought it was just a change to Type and the resurecting thing.

Scrapped.

The way your using the intimidate skill happens to be a variant usage from a completely different campagn setting.

On the outsider thing, you could have it change your type to native outsider. As a native outsider, Raise Dead and [/Resurection[/i] still work on you, your immune to the *whatever* person spells, and you still are affected by ageing effects, and have to eat and breath, you might still have the poison immunity, but I'm not sure.
