somogyi 04-28-07, 09:49 PM	i plan on making a halfling, that is an acrobat by profession and uses it in combat. i am looking for feats, classes, and prcs that could help. so far out of the books i have the dervish seems to be the best prc. i plan on dual wielding daggers or kukuris(sp), and starting out as a rouge. any ideas or suggestions are welcome. i was thinking of going wisperknife from races of the wild, but that is something i can roleplay. i was thinking of taking feats like fleet of foot, acrobatic strike, prone attack, and stuff like that.

calronmoonflower 04-29-07, 03:02 AM	Well combat expertise, deadly defense, and riposte are excellent feats for a finesse fighter. Taking levels in tempest well lower two-weapon fighting penalties and raise your AC, but it has a lot of feat requirements. If you don't mind psionics you can try my Blade Dancer.
DrakaraGM 04-29-07, 04:32 AM	You might try a few levels of Swashbuckler to start off with -- the first few levels can be worth taking if you plan to be a finesse fighter rather than a strength fighter, and the swashbuckler flavor works well for an acrobatic sort -- swashbuckler/rogue or swashbuckler/ranger going into dervish should work well I would think.
Aminvelos 04-29-07, 10:56 AM	Well, first off I'd just like to say that halflings are by far not the best acrobats. 20 feet in movement gives them -4 in jump of course they have a +2 in jump so it's only a negative 2. But unless your go you full movement of 20 feet you'll get double the dc on a jump unless you take a feat that prevents it. Leap of heavens- feat is going to be essential if you take halflings. Think about taking Mountain spirit folk- +2 balance, tumble, & jump +8 Climb 30 feet, no LA 30 mov. One of the best classes for acrobatic combat is ironically the warblade. Raptorans can also be fun 10+ to jump What dice system are you using to roll the chars?
somogyi 04-29-07, 03:27 PM	thanks for the input guys. idk wht dice system i will be using to create this. wht books are these feats from Mountain spirit folk, deadly defense, and riposte i have yet to find a game to join. sadly where i live i have 2 options for shops. one i odnt like the owners and dont want to gibe them my business and the other i dont like the players that play there. so i am left to fend for myself.
