I guess that means that I would change it like so: Prerequisites: Bluff 8 ranks, Disguise 8 ranks, Intimidate 8 ranks, Sense Motive 4 ranks, Spellcraft 4 ranks Advanced learning - can add any illusion spell of the appropriate level Illusion spell power at 3rd/6th/9th Would you sub out another metamagic feat for Silent Spell? Is there another analogoius effect for guardedmind(nondetection)? It seems that these changes make Sneaky Illusionist generally more powerful than Unseen Seer. mypetrock |

| mypetrock07-28-07, 02:37 PM | I have looked at the Beguiler, but this is an adaptation of the Unseen Seer prestige class given the guidance that the designers put into their description of the class in Complete Mage? I'm thinking that I might grab a couple of levels of Tricky Illusionist - the illusion-based adaptation of the Unseen Seer to go with my Rogue/Beguiler. My original post contains three essential questions: 1) Does the adaptation of Unseen Seer for illusions make sense? 2) Would you change in addition the class features of Guarded Mind and Still Spell? 3) Is an illusion-based Unseen Seer going to be stronger than a divination-based Unseen Seer? mypetrock |

From Phantasmal Killer to Shadow Summons illusions are generally stronger than Divination spells of the same level. Granted there are some RP applications for the Divination spells, but the Illusion spells are just that more powerful. mypetrock |
