| arcantos05-19-06, 01:21 PM | I have a warmage 4, rogue 1, looking forward to arcane trickster. If u are still reading I thank you, on the run I realiced what a strange, hard, and not useful(a pretty way to say useless :P ) combination that is, but the decisions are made, and I have to keep up with it. the feats are: 1- empower spell, weapopn finesse 3- practiced caster The point is that I requiere the 0-level spell Mage hand to meet the prerequisites, and I was looking for some help on how to get it. The only alowed books are the three core, and the first four completes. By the way, if anyone has a beter Idea for a prestige, or any other way to improve this character, I'm on for it. |

| somethings9005-19-06, 01:39 PM | I think extra spell from complete arcane would work. |

Seems like kind of a waste considering it's meant to let a Warmage gain some utility, but it could help your purpose as well. |
| Rodger05-19-06, 02:58 PM | There's a feat in Complete Arcane that gives you Mage Hand as a spell-like ability 1/day if I'm not mistaken. I think that'd allow you to meet the requirement. Also I believe the PHB2 variant Warmage ability lets you take an arcane spell from any school, but only a spell 2 levels lower than the highest spell level you can cast, and I think you can choose it instead of Advanced Learning. Edit: Ok, the variant ability actually lets you take a spell from any school (instead of just one school like Advanced Learning) but the spell takes up a slot one higher than normal, so your Mage Hand spell would be 1st-level instead of 0-level if you used this method. |
