| Nifft10-20-03, 03:29 PM | Interesting. I don't like "Focused Training", though -- one of the good things about 3.0e is the unified XP table for all classes. So, instead, I suggest: - Reduced XP cost for one (or more) type of Item Creation -- preferably Potions & expendible Wonderous Items, since they're very associated with Witches - Extra powers like the Witch class in Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed -- in fact, that class is such a great Adept-replacement, you should really take a look at it for inspiration. - Wildshape (for one limited animal type) or Wildsoul (Magic Jar, but only possess animals) - Bestow Curse & Break Enchantment as class abilities - 3/4 BAB (in place of 1/2, which is for bookish Wizards) -- N |
| ninjarabbit10-20-03, 04:12 PM | I think adepts are an almost playable class, they just need a few tweaks. Maybe they should get the bard's spell progression, light armor, average BAB, and one domain to make them playable. |
