So I'm trying to make a Multi-Weapon (Adept Rogue), if anyone has seen .hack//roots or .hack//G.U., for an upcoming campaign I'm joining. I think back and remember seeing a class variant that let a rogue have bonus feats like a fighter get. This is where I run into my first problem: I can't remember which book I saw it in. So far, I've checked PHB II, Unearthed Arcana, Complete Adventurer, and Complete Scoudrel. Weren't in any of them. If anyone know which book it's in, please let me know.

Now on to the main problem: I need help making this character since, honestly, I still a newb to D&D. I'm starting at level 6 as a human. Thinking about taking Dodge, Mobility, Combat Expertise, Spring Attack, Two-Weapon Fighting, and Psionic dodge. Thinking 4 levels of UA Variant: Rogue, and 2 levels of Psychic Warrior, so I still need 3 more feats

Update: Ok, found out that it was, in fact, in Unearthed Arcana, p. 58. I substitute sneak attack for bonus feats.

Do you know of the Psychic Rogues (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723b)? This can let you rid the multiclassing of rogue/psychic warrior a bit. Check it out.

And also the lurk, completely forgot about it till I read your post.

As for the orginal question. The variant that lets a Rogue swap out it's Sneak Attack for Bonus feats is in Unearthed Arcana.

So I had to make a few changes. For one, My character is going to be a half-giant. The reason for this is that one of the weapons I will eventually be using is going to be a a large two handed weapon, which a human can't wield, even if they have monkey grip. 3 levels of Rogue and 3 levels of Psychic Warrior. Next are the feats: Dodge, Psionic Dodge, Two-Weapon Fighting, Mobility, Speed of thought, Combat Reflexes, Exotic Weapon Proficiency - Broadblade GreatSword (So far, I've only seen a short sword version of this. If another exists please let me know. I'm hoping my GM will allow this. If he doesn't I'll have to pick something else), and I still need one more. Stats, I rolled pretty bad at first, thankfully all my mods added up to be less than +3 so I got to reroll them. Came out really well the second time.

Str - 18(16 + 2 racial), Dex - 17(18 - 2 racial + 1 from reaching level 4), Con - 17(15 + 2racial), Int -18, Wis - 17, Cha -13.

Currently have 52 HP. Powers are Burst, Precognitive Offensive Attack, and Vigor. 9 Power Points and 8 Action Points. Still deciding on the weapons since he gave me the amount of money a sixth level character is expected to have, going by the table in DMG p. 54 under Behind the Curtains. I wasn't sure if I'm suppose to go by "Expected Wealth Gain" or "Treasure from Encounters"? Can anyone clarify please.

What I would like to have is:
2 MW Deep-Crystal Shortswords (I would like to have haste on them but that'll probably be later).
1 MW Deep-Crystal(or Adamintine, idk yet) Broadblade Greatsword(if the GM allows)
1 MW Large Scythe w/ Knockback(or Knockdown) on it.

Armor...This is a tough one. If I go by haseo's third form in .hack//gu, it looks like he's wearing full plate w/netcutters (Races of the Wild) but without the helm. Considering how fast he moves in the game, I'm assuming it would be mithril and it would have nimbleness on it. My problem with this is that if I do wear this I'll lose evasion, since its not light armor. Is there anyway, what-so-ever, to make it light armor?

Items:
-Healing belt...from what I've heard, we only have one cleric. He's a level 2 cleric and a level 6 barbarian.
-Hewards Handy Haversack
-Reach Gauntlets...Eventually, I'm going to pick up whirlwind attack with for my scythe so I can attack everything that's 10 feet around me all at once, which considering the class in .hack is called a flick reaper(another reason for knockback), its decent.
-I haven't thought about the rest, yet. Any ideas?

p.s. - took a look at the psychic rogue and lurker, but they just weren't what I was looking for. Thanks though.

If you are aiming for a 2-handed sword, why are you taking TWF?

Because Haseo's first form had dual weapons

It's as Leress says.

The three classes that Haseo choose when he became an Adept Rogue were: Twin Blade, Edge Punisher, and Flick Reaper.

I might end up taking Two Weapon defense since I won't be using a shield. That way, If I fight defensively I get a total bonus of +6(3 from fighting defensively in the first place and having more than 5 ranks in tuble, 1 from the TWD feat, 1 from Dodge, and 1 from Psionic Dodge). If I go total defense, then its +10(6 from total defense with more than 5 ranks in tumble, 2 from TWD feat, 1 from dodge, and 1 from Psionic Dodge).
