Hoog 07-04-04, 03:24 AM	I am new to the boards and was wondering if there was anyway to advance an animal compinion to make it bigger. I know as you gain levels the creature gets bonus HD, what I was wondering was do they still have a ritual like they did in 3.0 to advance its natural HD and ot make it larger.

The 3.5 animal companion improvement tables completely supercede the advancement option from 3.0; the only reason that existed was that animal companions didn't improve in 3.0. That, and nothing about Advancement implies a creature can be advanced; it's not levels, it's being innately bigger. An Advanced wolf hasn't learned to be more powerful, it was born more powerful, and has always been bigger.
