Just a couple of quick questions regarding my character:
How does this look?
Should I consider different options for my favored enemies and animal companion?
How are my feat selections?
Are the barbarian levels overkill?
Any other comments/suggestions would be greatly welcomed as this is my first attempt at playing a Ranger and a half elf. I’m going with half elf more for role playing reasons as it fits in nicely with my characters history.
Also does this subject go here or the prestige class thread?
Thank You!

Barbarian levels are ok. That looks like a good entry into Wildrunner. It's interesting that you've decided to go with the dex build, but I'm guessing that's for flavorful reasons.

Don't bother with Wis boosting after that many levels.

Also, don't bother with two-weapon defense. If you want to spend 2 of your 7 feats on defense, go with Combat Expertise and Improved Combat Expertise. Of course, that means you'll have to switch Cha and Int to qualify. The return you get for TWF defense feats is pretty poor. You could also grab Improved Buckler Defense, and strap a buckler to your off-hand. When magic is factored in, that's a better idea than TWF defense feats.

Dual Strike is nice when heading for a TWF build. Another option to consider is Two-Weapon Rend.

Don't worry about your animal companion. It'll never amount to enough to matter except as flavor or spy/scouting action. Or perhaps if it uses the Aid Another action.

For classes, it really depends upon your concept. 11 levels of ranger is good if you really want that casting and animla companion. If not, an entry of 2/2/2 is quite easy to do without worrying about exp penalties.
Barbarian 2 / Ranger 2 / Scout 2 is easy on theme and fits the bill quite nicely. It also plays into a mobile attack theme, which may or may not work for you.

Scout 2 / Barbarian 2 / Ranger 2 / Wildrunner 6 / choice here

So, in summary my recommendations would be
Str: 13, Dex: 16, Con 14, Int 13, Wis 14, Cha 10

Feats:
Weapon Finesse
Dual Strike
Combat Expertise
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Two-Weapon Rend (PHB II)
Improved Combat Expertise

That's actually farther than I'd plan with a character like this.

Cheers

Otto :)
