I want to make an aikido type monk, has anyone seen anything like this on here already? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why not just make a monk, and describe his movements and such as being aikido-like? I don't see any reason why an aikido-style monk would do less damage than a normal one, and certainly not more damage either. What about the monk do you think would need to be changed in order for it to be an aikido monk?

well aikido is a defensive martial art so a good monk would ready his actions and use improved trip and dis-arm techniques, just describe the moves and choose the feats accordingly to the style mostly trip oriented and the balance skill would be good as though some ranks in tumble.
you should know the ikio nikio sankyo yonkyo thechniques so just show them and have fun with some realistic fighting .

The Denying Stance or Passive Way varient Monk Fighting Styles in Unearthed Arcana, pg 52 seem like they could be used to imitate Aikido.

Also, if you want to immitate the philosophy of Ueshiba Morihei, founder of modern Akido. I'd recomend a either LG or NG alignment (yes, not techinically allowed) and some levels in Shugenja or Spirit Shaman. He was a (untrained?) Shinto priest, but he refused to let his are be used by the Japanese military (after two female students beat up a company of marines) and opposed much of what Japan was doing in the 30's-40's.

All the Best,

Nani?

P.S. Why do you have two threads on the same subject?

Seconds to the Denying Stance monk variant in Unearthed Arcana. Also, I highly recommend some feats from Complete Warrior, such as Close-Quarters Fighting (AoO when enemy attempts grapple), Defensive Strike (a must, AoO against attacker who fails to hit while using Total Defense), Defensive Throw (another must, free trip against Dodge target that misses), Freezing the Lifeblood (paralyzing attack with stunning fist attempt), Improved Combat Expertise (no limit to bonus), Karmic Strike (AoO against target that hits), Pain Touch (nauseate with stunning fist attempt), and Weakening Touch (no damage but -6 penalty to target's Strength with stunning fist attempt).

The goal with aikido is disabling and complete non-aggression. To work properly, I recommend using Fighting Defensively and even Total Defense whenever possible. Do not take aggressive actions at all. Pick up Defensive Strike, use Total Defense, and make trip attacks or stunning fist attempts against anyone that misses you. Power up Combat Expertise, also. Everything you can do to stop an enemy without dealing damage is key, so that means subdual damage, stunning fist, disarm, trip, grapple, and every special trick you can find with feats.

If your character and campaign aren't opposed to it, you can get some mileage out of the Book of Exalted Deeds. Fist of the Heavens, Intuitive Attack, Quell the Profane, Resounding Blow, Sanctify Ki Strike, and even the Vows of Nonviolence, Peace, and Poverty (although those last three can cause problems with normal campaigns).

The truth is, you've got a lot of options when you don't mind avoiding direct damage. Aikido can be portrayed pretty handily when you bring in Complete Warrior. Hope that gives you some ideas to achieve what you're after. Best of luck.

Also check out the Defensive martial arts tree from D20 Modern, and if it wasn't already mentioned the Elusive Target Tactical Feat from the Complete warrior. Everything else is pretty much on target. Avoid attacking. Trip and/or disarm opponents that miss you. You might consider any or all of the Vows from the book of Exalted Deeds.
