"Whistle while you work, bubba-doop boop boop boo boo!" - Alvin, Aimless Walker

Aimless Walkers are often confused with bards due to their wanderous ways, but are significantly different. Aimless Walkers wander for the pure enjoyment and the sight-seeing...ness... of it all. These people never drop the smile from their faces, but this does not mean they are smiley freaks. When someone is sad, they don't smile and laugh about it, though they will attempt to cheer the person up. Although often traveling, Aimless Walkers are not socially inept.

Class Skills
Aimless Walkers have skills as a ranger and Speak Language
6 skill points + INT per level.
They are proficient with no new weapons, other than the ones they were already proficient with. Same with Armor.

Cheery Disposition
Through an Aimless Walker's travels, his/her personality changes. The amazing sights and the enjoyment from walking make them look on the bright side, giving them +1 to all saves.

Wanderer's Bliss
Aimmless Walkers are always on the move, and they love it. Due to their love of wandering and their great skill in the seemingly simple task, they gain health as if they were sleeping, while walking. Although, walking isn't always easy, so they incur a -2 penalty on what they heal. For example, a level five character would only heal 3 HP if he walked for 8 hours. This ability does not work while fatigues or exhausted.

Wondrous Dreams
Aimless Walkers have seen a lot. Often times, the walkers go to sleep thinking and wondering about what they encountered that day. Each dawn, the Aimless Walker rolls to see if he has a fabulous dream. There is a 25% chance that the character has one of these Wondrous Dreams. These dreams offer creative insight, allowing the walker to gain a +2 insight bonus to any one skill that is chosen randomly among the skills they have ranks in. They get this bonus for that day

Fast Movement
See Monk class feature in the PH.

Low-light Vision
Constant travels in just starlight forces an Aimless Walker to adapt to this circumstance. A walker gains low-light vision like a Dwarf does. If the character already has low-light vision, they get darkvision 30ft. If they already have darkvision, in crease the darkvision range by and additional 30ft.

Journeyman's Knack
I guess you could call this Journeywoman's Knack but that sounds kinda lame :D . This ability allows the Aimless Walker to always be able to determine north at all times.

No Set Path
An Aimless Walker's wanderous ways make them unpredictable. This ability gives them immunity to scrying, but they can suppress this ability at will. Also, an Aimless Walker's path cannot be forseen. They become immune to anything that tells their future, but they can still gain insight bonuses.

Express into Stars
Aimless Walkers are not always cheery and jolly. They can often be caught with a fellow adventurer or traveler dead. Express into Stars is a supernatural ability usable once per day. The illusionary stars may represent sadness or happiness. It makes an illusionary void like in space with nebulae, stars, and the like. To train yourself to become unfeeling, negates any and all effects completely. The image goes away when the effect is complete. You may end the effect whenever desired. The effects and emotions corresponding are as follows
Happiness- The illusionary stars fascinate the target(s) for 1 minute, unless they succeed upon a will save of 18. There is no limit to how many creatures this can effect. It functions in a 50 foot radius. Allies are not protected from this effect.
Sadness- The stars spin themselves amazingly fast around you making a sanctuary of these stars. You cannot be targeted by spells, attacked, talked to, or any other way reached. You may stay into this pocket for up to 1 day. It encompasses all within a ten foot radius.

Thanks for reading ^^! Please post, it makes me happy for some reason. Check this out...

I like the concept of this class.:) I think the BAB and the saves sound about right, but you might want to work on the abilities a little.

Wanderer's Bliss: I think this ability would be negated by fatigue and exhaustion. Although if you took a level in Horizon Walker and used the Desert terrain feature then it wouldn't be a problem.

Wondrous Dreams: if an Aimless Walker has a dream that day, then the +2 bonus should also be only for that day.

Lowlight vision: nothing wrong with this, just a correction. Dwarves have darkvision 60 feet.

No Set Path: Maybe at level 6 you could make the DC for scrying an Aimless Walker tough to beat, as if nondetection were continuously active. And then the immunity at level 9, as it is.

Express Into Stars: This one I have some trouble with. Emotions can be unpredictable. There are so many random factors in determining a person's emotions that this ability seems... a little too much. Especially if you allow the player to choose which emotion is usable. Since the rest of this class' abilities are not combat oriented, I would go with either the Happiness feature or the Sadness feature.

One last thing: even though I like the concept, the D&D world is a pretty terrifying place at times. (My DM and game group are always joking about how insane people would become if they really had to face the things they do on a daily basis:rolleyes: ) Maybe Iron Will would be a good prerequisite for the class as well.

All in all, I think it's neat!:D

Okey doke ^^ the dream was only supposed to be for that day, my bad. You're right about the bliss to. I meant to say that :P
I'll change it for just the sadness one.

Hey, these are only suggestions. Other people might have different ideas that you may want to take into consideration as well. :)

I'd really like to see an evil version of this class. Also, I think they should have a certain number of languages or Speak Language as a class skill since they wander all over the place.
