Has anyone here seen the show Full Metal Alchemist if you have I was wondering if you have any input on how I could go around making a class either base of prestige based on what alchemy is like in that show. What I had in mind was mild combat ability and the ability to use transmutation spells as a spell-like ability if they draw an array or spell circle like object any input would be greatly appreciated Thanks. :thinks:

Translating anime to standard D20 is hard. Im been working on a class based off of FMA for months now, and there are many, many kinks in the mechanics. The mild combat ability is a difficult prospect but your fighter buddy will love you for all the repairs you could do.

Depending on how your DM does experience, that mild combat ability could really make you slow in leveling. If you have any ideas on how I could work in some more combat I would love to hear it.

So far I have the spike thing down and making stuff is pretty much good to go. Ive worked out how to make something like mustangs fireblasts work well. I would love to finish this as its a great concept.

Perhaps we could brainstorm together and come up with some fantastic stuff.

That brainstorming idea sounds good I started a different thread because no on posted on this one and I put some of my ideas in that one. It is called Alchemist Class (Again) if you are interested in looking at it. :D
