I would like to make a little gnome who is good with alchemy, you know, uses acid ans stuff as normal weapons cause he can make it all himself. The only thing is, is if I am going to be spending alot of money on this stuff I want to be good at it, are there any classes that make you a good alchemist?

Well, there's this one >>HERE<< (http://www.nazro.net/d20stuff/alchemist.htm), and there's bunches more floating around the boards, as well.

None in any books that I know of as of yet, but I was thinking of making a Alchemist class, it would be a prestige class with requirements of INT: 16+ Alchemy 8 ranks, and Skill Focus (Alchemy). specials would be double yield which would allow you to optimize the materials to occasionally yield twice the amount of potions and other products you would normally make. Also, you get an additional +2 to all heal checks and if you would assist in a heal skill check you would give the main healer a +4 circumstance bonus instead of a +2.

It's still under work, but tell me what you think of the class so far.

There's Alchemist Savant PrC in Magic of Eberron.
