Nature_King 06-23-06, 10:41 AM	Okay so I know Monks are lawful so what are Drukenmasters, they have to be choatic right ? They get drunk making a fool of themselves. I want to know because I'm going to play a Elysian dragon since they drink (alot) it's useful but I think playing something lawful would mess up my plans, so I just was wondering what is it ?
JadeSpider9643 06-23-06, 06:22 PM	Drunken Masters do not have an alignment requirement, but if they wish to multi-class back as a monk they must be lawful. And despite the use of alcohol to limber themselves up, it is not generally consumed in such quantities as to lead to a night of drunken frivolity. There's a very thick fat deep black line and a tall thick double wall toped with razer wire between being a boozing drunk and being a drunken master. think of a drunken master more as a class that can turn a tankard of ale into a combo potion of cat's grace/bull's strength.

I'm sorry... but in myth and media, Drunken Boxing is allways portrayed as following up after getting pretty skunked. It's a very entertaining and romantic image, and that image is the foundation of the PrC. It's not just some other fighting style.
Dolo 06-23-06, 10:45 PM	Yes and the Drunken Master is not truly smashed, its an illusion to lull your enemies into a false sense of superiority, so that they make mistakes that you take advantage of. Most people think he is drunk, but his high tolerance to booze keeps him in control. Unless he decided to push it past safe levels, a drunken master is always in control of his factuaties.
