What feats can a druid take to be able to wildshape into different creatures besides the druids norm.
I know exalted deeds has something to allows magical creatures(but dm rules this book out.)
Lords of maddness gets you into a abbreation but i dont know if this affects wildshaping.
Any others?

Assume Supernatural Ability (wild feat) - Savage species

Dragon Wild Shaping (wild feat) - Draconomicon
This feat will allow you to shape shift into medium size true dragon shapes, which also allows the extrodinary and special abilities of dragons minus the spell-like abilities & spell casting.

Vermin Wild Shape from Eberron. Requires Child of Winter feat.
Pretty much does what is says on the tin. Cannot take normal wild shapes if you have this feat.

Beast Shape is also in the Eberron book. Requires Beast Totem feat.

Depends what you wish to do as a wildshaping druid. As for me I would love to be a wildshaping caster.

I am no expert, for example, I currently playing a druid for the first time, and this is what I am doing.

Druid (+4 levels; lvl4)
Wizard (+3 levels; lvl 7)
Arcane Heriophant (+10 levels; lvl 17) - Races of Wild book
Druid (+3 levels; lvl20)

Feats I took: Natural Spell, Eschew Material, Practiced Spellcaster (Wizard), Alternate Spell Source, Dragon Form, and Theurgic Bond (Wizard)

What this build will give you as a Druid/Wizard/Arcane Heriophant by level 20 is the following:

Divine spellcasting = 17th caster level (9th level spells)
Arcane spellcasting = 17th caster level (7th level spells)
Wildshaping ability = As a 17th level druid + Dragon Wildshaping (breathweapon!)
Companion Familiar = Your pet becomes an animal/familiar (best of both worlds)

Anyhow, this is the route I took since I want to be a wildshaping spellcaster, but I am sure it will be completely different build if you wish to be more of a melee wildshaping druid. In that case I don't have the expertise to give you good advise for that except for going straight Druid.

Negative, Planar Shepherd is better for wildshaping (as is Master of Many Forms, but it is inferior in every way to Planar Shepherd, and in nearly every way to Druid).

Planar shepherd Handbook (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=709233)

As to feats, Aberration Wildshape lets you change into aberrations, with the normal animal restrictions, takes two feats though.
Dragon Wildshape: covered above.
Vermin Wildshape, can be gotten with a 10th level substitution from Sandstorm, or an item from DMG2 (forget the name) instead of a feat.
Beast Shape from eberron, only gets you one creature, takes two feats.
Exalted Wildshape: get several ok magical beasts plus a template to your animals, but commonly banned by DMs.

I think that covers it.

True, but the Planar Shepherd is one of the most broken classes in all of 3.5, and few DMs would allow it in a game.

Sure, OP never said he wanted only reasonable suggestions though :P

P.S. I would also say Planar Shepherd can be ok, so long as the player and the DM are on the same page, and neither of them expects the player to try and break the game with it.

The OP said that the DM bans BoED, so I doubt the DM would allow the Planar Shepherd.

I agree that a Planar Shepherd can be fine in a campaign with good players and DM.

Hi!
If the OP's intention is to have as many different creature types as possible to shape into, I think Druid X / Master of Many Forms 10 / Y would be a good basis to work with.
You would have animals, humanoids, monstrous humanoids, feys, vermin, aberrations, plants, oozes, elementals and dragons from sizes diminutive to gargantuan.
