kidman 11-29-06, 09:48 PM	Lo, im just here to wonder if there are any alternate combat styles for rangers. because i love the idea of a fast combat oriented class with good skills but... having olny two different fighting styles limits the imagination... i mean come on how awesome would it be to have a ranger with a great spear? and ive always wanted to have a fighter that was quick with a bastard sward but i hate letting the armor that fighters have ignored if there are any out there please direct me too them if anyone would be kind enough to make some (that would be nice) please try spear or bastard/long sword!!
Repeekluos 11-29-06, 09:55 PM	Greatspear is possible with TWF. Wield GS, and spiked armor as your "off-hand". As far as true fighting styles go, a ranger with Mounted Fighting Feats is a decent variant. I used that in a Ranger/Pally combo. Worked out well, and my DM was nice enough to let me do it.
