Hey all,

Pretty much everyone I know who plays 3rd edition D&D has implemented some kind of special rules for changing the sorcerer class. I wanted to make a thread wherein everyone can simply list whatever they use in their game. Then DMs looking for something different can just scroll through the thread and see what others have done.

What I *don't* want is discussion of whether the sorcerer is under powered, over powered, lame, l33t, whatever. If you want debate over the merits of your sorcerer class, post it elsewhere.

My sorcerer:

HD: same
Saves/BAB: same
Armor/Weapon Proficiencies: same
Skills: same plus intimidate
Spells/day: sorcerer gets 0 2nd-level spells per day at 3rd level, 0 3rd-level spells per day at 5th level, and so on. Spells per day progression otherwise the same.
Spells known: sorcerer knows 1 2nd-level spell at 3rd level, 1 3rd-level spell at 5th level, and so on, regardless of whether his Cha is high enough to cast them. Spells known progression is otherwise the same.
Special abilities: Sorcerers do not use material components. They simply ignore material components that cost less than 1 gp. For more expensive components, the sorcerer may substitute XP at the rate of 1 XP/25 GP (i.e., the Monty Cook rule). Sorcerer does not have the ability to summon a familiar.

And that's it. Not too exciting, but it works for me. Let's see your sorcerers!
