| prozacman04-09-05, 06:58 AM | i am currently building a rogue. I have always thought the ability to hide in plain sight is cool as h377, i was wondering if anyone knows any alternative ways to access the power besides shadow dancer and the scout. Perform really doesn't fit my character concept... neither does hiding in the woods. He's a sneaky city boy... more likely to cheat at a game of cards than dance around like a fae if a magic item could accomplish this that'd be great, but i don't know of any. any ideas/help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanx |

| Lina_Inverse04-09-05, 07:45 AM | hide in plain sight if a borzorken ability.and it annoys me they even let it touch non-prc classes in any way. just go with a ring of great invis, does the same thing.except theres ways around it. |
| -Defiler of Souls-04-09-05, 12:01 PM | I believe assassin gets it as well |
| -Demoquin-04-09-05, 02:28 PM | The Assassin gets HIPS at lvl 8 Ranger and Scout get (natural) HIPS at lvl 14 And SD at lvl 2 :) You could maybe change the perform to bluff? extra tumble? |
| epifreak04-09-05, 03:43 PM | You could always try a bluff check to buy time to hide. You: "Hey, look! A conveniently timed distraction!" roll bluff Opponent: "Huh?" *turns around* *turns back around* "where'd he go?" It usually works quite well, provided you max bluff, which any rogue should ALWAYS do. |
| prozacman04-09-05, 07:35 PM | hadn't thought of using bluff for that... i should have, its hillarious wouldn't a constant effect ring of greater invisibility be like... rediculously expensive? anyhow thanx for the assistance.. <goes to look at 3.5 assassin> |
