I have a friend who Is joining the game as a paladin/hellreaver.
I am the group librarian. My copy of the Complete Champion has not come in the mail due to the holiday season and my game is saturday. Can anyone give me some details on what he could use from that book? He has decided he will not call a mount and since he has multiclassed hid turn undead is useful only for divine feats ,which he has not taken. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have C. Champion, but PHB2 has a useful replacment for the mount: charging smite. Get more mileage out of your smites.

You might also check out this article. (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20070228a) I'm using the "Stand Fast" version at the moment for my rogue/paladin.

Smite and Divine Feats are cornerstones of paladin, and he gave up one of them? *shrug*

Anyway, CC has two alternative features, one of them gives you feats instead of spellcasting, and the other gives you some underground abilities instead of special mount.

The underground one scales with paladin lvs & only works underground.

The feat one mostly improves on Smite Evil & mounted combat abilities.

Those probably won't work well for a Multi-classes Paladin(nor would they work together).

There's one in Unearthed Arcana(available here (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#ranger)) that drops Lay on Hands, Turn Undead, & Remove Disease for Favored Enemy, but I don't think that'll help much...

Divine Spirit from Dungeonscape is kinda nifty, but doesn't do you any good if you don't have that book...

The code of conduct on these boards specifically forbids us from giving you specifics.

If you post a thread on the boards begging someone to intentionally break the rules, don't expect much success.
