| Mastermind02010-07-04, 09:31 PM | Okay here's the deal. I've been playing a Duergar guerilla-type fighter for A LONG time (the longest I've ever had any one character) and am currently level 15 (adjusted level equals 14, Duergar have an ECL of +1). I was recently browsing in Expanded Psioinics Hanbook and read that Duergar are naturally psionic creatures. I've been considering multiclassing to Psychic Warrior. The Duergar's natrual inclination towards psionics would fit storywise plus the powers from Psychic Warrior would augement my already formidable abilites. My question is: is it too late? Im worried that since im already level fourteen, it would be a long time before I get any decent powers? Think I should do it? |

Dipping into Psychic Warrior isn't a bad idea, actually; you lose few HP, still get your 4th itinerant attack (albeit a level or so late), and only lose one or two feats (chances are you already have all the fighting feats you need anyway). |

Even if you only get some so-so abilities, they would still add some flavor to your character, and probably aren't going to be something that makes you regret missing that feat you could have gotten instead. It sounds like a win-win from both a RP and power perspective. |
