The Dust Twister is a medium air elemental that serves primarily as a neat mount. At the moment, it's a definite advantage in combat (and just looks ridiculously cool), but I worry that at the rate the campaign is proceeding it will soon become more of a liability. Is there any way by means of alternative class features or feats to have my dust twister progress with my character? I'm not looking for a super-optimized magic tornado of destruction, just a familiar or a companion that will be moderately useful into higher levels with a fair chance of survival. Anything from 3.5 is okay but I'm only 4th level and would like to start improving it soon. |
