Unstoppable Force

The spellcaster known as the Unstoppable Force is an arcane juggernaut, expert in destroying even the most well fortified defenses.
An Unstoppable Force does not ask "how do I get around this obstacle?", they have already blown it to bits. What they lack in versatility they more than make up for in brute destructive force

Entry Requirements:
Skills: Knowledge(arcana) 8 ranks, Spellcraft 16 ranks
Feats: Maximize spell, Empower spell
Spells: Must be able to cast at least 7 spells with the force descriptor, at least one of which must be 7th level or higher.

Class Skills: Alchemy, Concentration, Craft, Knowledge (all skills), Profession and Spellcraft
Skill Points: 2 + Int.
Hit Die: d4

Level BAB Fort save Ref save Will save Special abilities Spells per day
1 +0 +0 +0 +2 Crushing Force/Power +1level of exixsting arcane spellcasting class
2 +1 +0 +0 +3 +1level of exixsting arcane spellcasting class
3 +1 +1 +1 +3 Force Blast +1level of exixsting arcane spellcasting class
4 +2 +1 +1 +4 +1level of exixsting arcane spellcasting class
5 +2 +1 +1 +4 Unstoppable Force +1level of exixsting arcane spellcasting class

Crushing Force(Ex): This ability allows an Unstoppable Force to ignore the hardness of inanimate objects.
Force Power: An Unstoppable force gains a +3 competence bonus on attack rolls made with his force spells. He also adds a +1 bonus to each die of
damage dealt by spells he casts with the force descriptor. If the force spell doesn't deal damage expressed by dice, he adds only a +1 bonus to the total damage dealt.
In addition, the DC required to counter, dispel, and the save DC for the Unstoppable force's force spells increases by 2.
Force Blast(Sp): This ability creates a blast of pure force once per day. The blast ia a cone that extends 30 ft. in the direction indicated by the Unstoppable force and deals 1d6 points of damage per arcane caster level (Max 25d6). A successful Reflex save (DC 18+ the Unstoppable Force's Int or Cha modifier) avoids half of the force blast damage.
Unstoppable Force(Su): Three times per day an Unstoppable force may either Maximize or Empower any force spell of 7th level or lower without adjusting the level of the spell slot used.

Tell me what you think please, any Ideas of what needs to be changed.

Why have a note of (Max 25d6) when the maximum class level is 5 (causing 5d6 damage).

Sorry about that.
I mean Caster level not the Unstoppable Force level. I'll Fix that.

Doesn't seem over powered. just a slight variation but a straight wizard could pick it up. Good Job. Almost forgot you should say he cast force spells at +2 castel level and all DC's on spells with the force descriptor increase by 2

Thank you. I'll run it by the Dm then. Anyone else have some criticism or anything to add? Would be really helpful. Thank you.

Heres a few nitpicky things I have...

1. Change the BaB to bad

2. Remove the BaB to get into the class (it's useless considering all classes getting to 7 level spell will be 13th level and have at least a +6 base attack bonus.)

3. I'd change Force Blast damage = d6 X ARCANE caster level.

1. Seems reasonable

2. Again reasonable, i think this was left over from something else i was thinking about.

3. That is what I meant so I guess i should specify this.

I Talked it over with my DM and this is the final copy for anyone who might want to use it also.

Can a caster use Unstoppable Force(Su) twice on the same spell? IE: Cast Orb of Force with Maximize and Empower by using two of the per day uses?

And what's next? The Unmovable Object:D

No they cannot it says either maximize or empower, but not both for free, this does not stop one however from using it to maximize a spell and then use your normal empower on top of it but you will have to deal with the increased spell level slot usage.

LOL, I was actually thinking of an Immovable object, wasn't sure whether to make it a caster or a fighter similar to the dwarven defender.

I wanted to expand this into an epic progression but wasn't sure where exactly to start. Anyone with any ideas please post.

Generally you don't go epic on a 5-level class.

With Crushing Force, does the "ignore hardness" relate to the mage's spells, melee attacks, ranged attacks or all of the above? Also, the second part of Crushing Force is rather strong, too strong, almost. It's more powerful than a Red Wizard's Spell Power ability. Lastly, I assume Force Blast is the equivalent of an 8th level spell, from the way the DC is calculated. Is this right?

The Ignore hardness only relates to spells with the force descriptor, and the +2 bonus to DC needed to save or counter/dispel the spell is only for spells with the force descriptor (it is meant to basically pigeon-hole you into a very narrow discipline). And yes you assume right it is equivalent to an 8th level spell-like ability, don't know why it was showing as a supernatural ability but i fixed that. Should I put the ignore hardness at a specific number that it ignores or keep it as is?
