"... with Class" articles [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-19-07, 01:45 PM I'm not sure if this should go here or not, but I was looking for the "... with Class" articles on the older site, and I don't see them anywhere! Specifically the one for the Cleric, since it's my first time playing a Cleric in a game. Does anyone know where these articles are now, or where they are archived or saved?

08-19-07, 01:52 PM I don't know where they are, but I would just go to Character Optimization. Most people will tell you about Divine Metamagic and night sticks (along with persistent spell).

I wouldn't make your own thread until after searching around for a while, it shouldn't be to hard to find a few cleric threads.

08-19-07, 01:54 PM Well I'm not exactly looking to powergame him, I just want basic tips on how to properly play a cleric. The first game we played I was only able to get one spell off during two combats. The first combat I was asleep and we were attacked during the night, and I only had time to Bless the others. The second, I had to fend off an orc who was on me, as I couldn't get to the others to buff them.

I'd say: go to the CO boards indeed (not Theoretical Optimization, of course).

*: but the reason why I bother saying they're available is that some of the other article series were very interesting, and it's all still available. BTW, those will probably get deleted eventually (I'm not saying it'd be soon, though) ... so, you might wanna peek fast.
