Duskwatcher_Iberius 01-25-06, 04:25 PM	ok this may have been asked before but I only have about 10 minutes...and I can not seem to find the search function for the forums soo I will just ask in the monster manual 3... the Dracotaur starts play with 3 levels of a class called "Dragon" thats in simply dragon...I have the Draconomicon but it does not mention this class...is it in the new book on dragons(sorry I spaced on the name of this book)? or is it somewhere else? ooh and in the level adjustment of +5 does this include the 3 levels of "Dragon" or is that seperate? thank you for any useful information

Neodymium 01-25-06, 08:13 PM	i suppose in theory you could. it's pretty easy to figure out the progression on dragon racial levels from the details given. I don't you'd get any cool class abilities or bonus feats though.
legowarrior 01-25-06, 08:39 PM	Monster Manual 1 should have dragon hitdice near the end of the book, which maybe close enough.
Seeker of Undeath 01-25-06, 09:04 PM	The Monster Manual does have info on what a hit die of dragon entails. That's all you need, other than knowing how many levels of dragon a creature has. For the record, dragon is not a class; it is a race. However, current game mechanics has it operate much the same.
ArochanoX 01-26-06, 11:50 AM	The Dracotaur has 3 Racial Hitdie (dragon) and +5 LA making it equilevalent to 8th level character. (ECL 8). So 1st level dracotaur barbarian would be in par with other characters at level 9. The Dragon HD grant following: skill points: 6+Int (x4 at 1st level) lvl bab f r w 1 +1 2 2 2 feat 2 +2 3 3 3 3 +3 3 3 3 feat The rest of the progression is copyrighted and I'd break the code of conduct if I posted my version of good dracotaur progression here.

Actually, a preview of the dracotaur was shown on the wotc website, meaning anyone can actually have access to its full stats, so I guess an allowance could be made here. :) Or are you refering to some SS progression in some splatbook?
