I run into many uses of the term "gish" on this forum, and it's not in Trollbill's Dictionary of Terminology. What's it mean?

A Gish is a Fighter-Arcane Caster hybrid character.

The term comes from 2nd edition, where high-level Githzerai warrior/mages were referred to as the Gish.

(Or was it Githyanki? I can never remember.)

Would it be wrong for me to say "What, they all look alike to you?"

Yeah, it probably would be ;D

It doesn't apply to just arcane/fighters.

The most common is, but it can apply to psionics to.

I'm not so sure on Divine, but you could view it that way.

In general when someone is talking about a "gish" class/build there's a PC with max BAB and Spellcasting/Manifesting for their level.

It is Githyanki.

Githzerai multiclass are called Zerths.

Not divine, because the Githyankis don't have divine casters :D
