These rounds need not be consecutive.I've seen this in multiple class ability descriptions. Does "per class level" refer to total class levels, or only total levels in the class for which the ability is being described?
janusthinker 01-06-06, 11:08 PM	Typically, it means per class level in the class for which the ability is being described, especially for prestige classes. There can be exceptions to this, due to misprints, screwups, and fuzzy thinking.
Arkonth 01-06-06, 11:09 PM	Class level refers to your level in the class referencing it. Character level refers to your total class levels.
q'afuu 01-07-06, 08:54 AM	Character level refers to your total class levels. Character level actually refers to your number of HD, including racial ones. Only LA doesn't count towards character level.
Lord Schpungus 01-07-06, 12:46 PM	some classes are lax and only say 'level', I think. Those actually mean 'class level', ie, levels in this specific class.
Rulebook 01-07-06, 02:37 PM	you really have to read the context on those. most of the time though, they do mean class level.
