bigevill 11-24-06, 08:36 AM	I am not sure I am spelling it right as I dont have the book here with me at work, but looking at the Anima mage PrC from the Tome of Magic it seems you can get into the class with only 3 levels of wizard. You go wizard 3 and take the binding and imporved binding feats to gain access to binding up to 3rd level vestiges then when you get your first level of Anima Mage you lose the benifit of the feats but gain the binding of a first level binder. Two feats instead of 3 class levels seems like a fair trade off. You then advance thru Anima Mage levels and get to bind as a binder 3 levels lower then your total player level. I need to make a 10th level character for a new game and I am thinking being able to cast as a 10th level wizard and bind 4th level vestiges (2 of them once I reach 11th level) is pretty tough. Am I crazy or will this work?

Another method is to take Improved Binding as a Binder, which (although my book isn't on me), means you only need 1 level of Binder to qualify. The downside to this is you'll always have to show the signs of your vestiges, since either with feats or one level of binder, you can't get the supress sign class ability.
