PolarBlizzard 06-17-05, 11:14 AM	they would have to be seperate animals. The animal companion (unless feats are taken) are limited to the animal type. Where as the Familiar becomes a magical beast at the point it become the familiar.

Inkubus 06-17-05, 11:23 AM	The only possibility I'm aware of to combine familiar and animal companion bonuses on one animal is the familiar companion ability of the arcane hierophant PrC.
AramilWindwalker 06-17-05, 12:19 PM	about throwing pally in here, there's a feat in Cadv that combines animal comp with special mount, but I haven't seen familiar with mount, mostly because of the size difference
