Animal lord: increases AC if it's the "right one" Lion of Talisid (Exalted): you bet. I can't remember if it's limited to large cats, though - but I'm a fan of tigers and dire lions anyway. Arcane hierophant: (need to cast 2nd level arcane spells): turns it into a familiar/AC hybrid. Sweet. Wild Plains Outrider: if it's a mount, and you're not that crazxy for spells, it's a good pick. Quickest way to get full melee attack when mounted, too. There are probably more, but I'm not sure about them right now.
