| cheatlord10-27-03, 03:40 PM | Hi, i have a new druid level 1 with a wolf companion. The wolf has a standard 2 HD. At level 3, my animal companion gets 2 HD more. That would bring my wolf at 4 HD. If i look at the wolf description in the MM (3.5) it says that between 4-6 HD the wolf is Large. My question is, how do you modify the wolf stats now that he is a Large Animal? Thanks! |

| cheatlord10-27-03, 04:04 PM | Where have you found this info exactly? That companions don't increase in size?? Thanks. |

An advanced (large) wolf is clearly a much more powerful creature than any of the others at that same bonus level for companions. If you want to play with that kind of brokenness play hackmaster or something. Look, I was hoping and praying that it would be the case that wolves beefed up myself (as a player of a druid), but honestly...would anybody have any of the other companions (roleplaying excuses barred) if the wolf advanced in that manner? Look through the boards and you will see that this is the official answer (sorry...too lazy to find the thread). Peace, Feyd |
